Easy Money

For a cool $10,000 hold SHIFT and type "FUND". If you do this three times in a year you'll get an earthquake, and the code may only be used eight times. For best results, use it up before you build to avoid damage from the quakes.

Note: The $10,000 you receive is a loan and must be paid back with interest.

Eliminate Tornadoes and Monsters

If you're hit with a tornado or attacked by Godzilla, save the game immediately then reload. The monster or tornado should be gone.

Playing Tips

When you start a new game,don't build anything. Use the easy money code. Keep using it until you get as much money as you want. When earthquakes happen, there will be no fires at all because you didn't build anything.
Start a new game. Then use the easy money cheat and the above tip. Then pause the game. Build all your buildings, homes, et cetera, in groups. Put all of your homes near each other away from industrial and commercial areas. Now build all of the industrial areas away from homes and commercial areas. Build all of your commercial areas away from industrial areas and homes. This will increase your population because there will be no traffic around the homes.

Taxation without Representation

To rip off the citizens, repeal all taxes at the beginning of the year (set them to 0). Then, towards the end of the year, raise them again!

Kill Fires and Floods

When a fire breaks out, go to the terrain editor and just simply put dirt where the fire is. You can also do this with flooding!
