Black & White Mode

Start the first stage and press SELECT 15 times while the game is in progress. Press RUN to pause the game. Now, hold I and press UP to change to black & white mode.

Bonus Game

At the brightness screen press II, UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, II, I. In this game use the control pad to move the ship; button I releases a "smart bomb" and button II shoots.

Love Thy Enemy

You'll love the enemy with this code. While playing, press RUN 200 times. All the enemies will turn into 1-Ups!

Screen Control

At the Sound test screen press SELECT, UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, II, I. A new menu will appear where you can select the screen brightness and flashing rate.

Sound Test

At the "Input your birthday" screen hold UP and I and tap RUN. (If you don't hold RUN long enough, you won't activate the Easter Egg--but if you hold it too long, you'll skip the cheat and start the game, so experiment to find the right timing)

Warp to Final Battle

At the "Input your birthday" screen hold DOWN and I and press RUN to warp to the final battle.
