Gaming Correspondents

We’re soon expanding Cheats.co.uk to offer news and reviews on all current platforms and we’ll also be adding a forum. To help with the expansion we are launching a volunteer program here at Cheats.co.uk, and we want you to be a part of it!

We are looking for individuals with great writing skills and a passion for gaming to join our editorial team.

Gaming Correspondents will be responsible for keeping up-to-date with their assigned console (e.g. Xbox 360). Tasks will include writing reviews, guide / walkthroughs and any news relating to your assigned console.

• Must have the availability to write, at minimum, two articles per month of no less than 1,000 words.
• Must have and demonstrate a working knowledge of grammar and spelling.
• Must understand and adhere to deadlines.
• Must be an active gamer and knowledgeable about your assigned console(s).
• Must be 18 years of age.

• Experience writing in the games industry.
• Ability to share your thoughts and opinions with our readers.
• Long term interest in being an assigned Gaming Correspondent.

• All Gaming Correspondents will get a unique forum title (e.g. PS3 Correspondent).
• Proven Gaming Correspondents may have additional opportunities for special assignments
• including but not limited to beta previews.

• 500 word article on any interesting topic regarding a console / game you currently play.
• A cover letter detailing your availability and any ideas that you may have.
• Subject Line: Cheats.co.uk - Gaming Correspondent (preferred console).

Forum Moderators

Cheats.co.uk is seeking volunteer Moderators for our new games forum. Moderators are responsible for enforcing the Rules of Conduct on the forums, as well as coordinating with the Community Manager and other Moderators about forum policies.

• An avid interest in the Cheats.co.uk community
• An aptitude and willingness to work in a virtual team environment
• Excellent reading comprehension

• Past experience in forum or chat moderation
• A long-standing history with gaming
